Despotism - a film made in 1945 to assist the masses to help determine if they were living in a society that was a free democracy or a despotic tyranny. We edited the film for length.. and for irony… to make it more suitable for today’s jaded viewers. (and subtitled the film - We Should Have Watched! - HA).
Even with the passage of time - this film is pretty interesting - especially the trends mentioned - which detail whether your society is heading toward democracy and freedom or sinking into tyranny. We hope it gives you pause to consider the arguments, reflect on your won country’s political leadership, and hopefully find time for a chuckle. Check it out. Despotism - 1945.
