Kim Novak - Happy BDAY!

On February 13, 1933 - Kim Novak, one of the most talented and beautiful actresses EVER…. was born in Chicago, Il. Her most reknowned film is probably Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, where she played the temptress who lured Jimmy Stewart into that crazy staircase scene (which clearly gives homage to Orson Wells… and his wild staircase scene in the Third Man - watch preview).

Personally - my favorite Kim Novak film is Otto Preminger’s classic, Man with the Golden Arm, starring Frank Sinatra, Darren McGavin, and Eleanor Parker. It’s a really great movie- and you gotta love the preview, made by Frank Random, one of LikeTelevision’s top talents.
