Over the next few weeks, we will be releasing a new killer cartoon -EACH day (M-F). And I mean really great cartoons. So let’s kick it off the cartoon festival with a splash. Today’s offering features Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester the cat, the dog, and Henery the hawk, who wants to get a chicken for dinner. Crowing Pains, released in 1947 for theaters - remains a classic.

Charles Bronson Dies of Pneumonia

September 1, 2003

Charles Bronson dies of Pneumonia over the Labor Day weekend at 81 years old in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was born Charles Buchinsky on Nov. 3, 1921 — in Ehrenfeld, Pa… the 11th of 15 children. (whoa - way to go Mrs. B!). He achieved stardom in Europe first (like David Hasselhoff…. just kidding :~)… and went on to marry Jill Ireland.

Check out some vintage Bronson in a One Step Beyond episode, circa 1961 - called The Last Round. A great episode featuring Bronson as a boxer and Paddy - the ghost of a trainer who haunts the ring.
