Now available - An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, as a DVD download. One of the best ever Twilight Zone episodes -this Roger Enrico film won at Cannes, and to this day remains one of the greatest screen adaptations from a short story, in this case by Ambrose Bierce.
This DVD is encoded at Full D-1… so it really looks terrific. And don’t forget to play the “synchronicity” game…. play a carefully selected CD, dropping the laser at the title screen. For me… the original Blind Faith album works the best. (Blind Faith’s only album by the way).
So when you get bored with the Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon… you’ll have something to do.

You see, long ago… this cartoon was buried in hopes it would never see the light of day. But here it is….YIKES… is that Jerry in blackface? Oh my!

So why is Dinky Duck - Orphan Duck a favorite of cartoon zealots? Well…. I think it is the scene where the Rooster is chiding the hen for having a Dinky Duck baby…. and not a chick that looks like the father, Mr. Rooster. It is very bizarre…. lots of poultry paternal disputes - was there a foxy duck in the hen house? Learn more about this classic.
The LikeTelevision Toonfest continues tomorrow - with a so bad it’s good three stooges cartoon… with real stooges!

The onslaught of new animation continues - today’s feature is: Gabby Goes Fishin’. Of course you know that Gabby is the knucklehead from Lilliput - and was introduced in Gulliver’s Travels - which you can view on LikeTelevision’s movie channel.
In this cartoon, Gabby claims to know a thing or two about fishing and tries to pass on his expertise (or lack thereof) to a young boy.
