On August 16, 1977 - The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Aaron Presley dies in his home, Graceland - in Memphis Tenn. Even today - mystery and nasty stories surround the death of Elvis, and the group that surrounded him, affectionately known as the Memphis Mafia. We’ll leave the conspiracy theories behind… and simply pay tribute to a great entertainer, a man who lost his twin brother during childbirth (hence the middle name, Aaron - his brother). We’re happy to imagine the 2 brothers harmonizing somewhere in heaven… doing a killer rendition of Amazing Grace. I’m sorry, but you incorrectly stated that Elvis’ twin brother who died at childbirth was named Aaron. This is actually Elvis’ middle name. His twin brother was named Jessie Caron. This is the name shown on the monument at Graceland.

His twin brothers middle name was Garon not Caron and i think that some one was using Jessie Garon’s name and social security number, i was looking up research and found that “Jesse G Presley” born January 8th 1935 had not died until January 26th 2003. Can someone explain that to me? the only problem with it is his name is spelled jesse not jessie, but its the correct birthdate, 1-8-1935
