Happy Birthday Betty Boop

On August 9, 1930 - Betty Boop’s first movie - Dirty Dishes is released. Created by Max Fleischer, (who also created Popeye and Superman cartoons), Betty was deemed “too sexy” by the Hayes Office, Hollywood’s early “Moral Authority”.
